All treatments increased number and weight of nodules as compared with control. All treatments increased bean yield as compared with control and the highest increases (360 and 279%) were noticed in treatments 6 and 3, respectively. Bean protein were also increased as compared with control in all treatments and the highest % increases (18.6 and 16.8%) were noticed in treatments 6 and 5, respectively. However, it seems likely that by inoculation, N and Mo application soyabean yield and protein contents can be increased substantially on acid and infertile Njala upland soils.enMetadata only.
