With high youth unemployment rates, educational reform efforts that integrate entrepreneurship training can prepare students for self-employment and stimulate job creation. The paper highlights practical strategies for implementing an entrepreneurship-focused curriculum, such as embedding business management, finance, marketing, and ethical practices; establishing partnerships with local businesses for hands-on experience; and creating mentorship programs with local entrepreneurs. This approach aims to foster innovation, resilience, and economic growth within communities, positioning education as a solution to socio-economic challenges in Africa.enCC BYentrepreneurship educationEntrepreneurship education and skills-based curriculum: A strategy for economic empowerment in African educationArticle
